The anticipation builds!

The 2009 Kentucky spring turkey season is just two days away and the anticipation is killing me! I have high hopes for laying down some great video footage this spring and just having a great turkey season in general. My son already got his first turkey two weeks ago, so it started off right! On top of that, I am taking my wife on her first real hunt this Saturday and hopefully she will discover what fires me up so much about chasing turkeys.

To take care of the last minute details, I will be taking a trip to Bass Pro tonight with the wife and friends to pick up a few items for Saturday, and then Friday will include letting my wife pattern her shotgun and then trying to roost a turkey right before dark. Did I mention I love turkey season?
