Below is the first in what will be a regular video blog outlining my efforts to take my first Pope & Young white-tailed deer this fall. This first one is a little long at 6.5 minutes, but I needed to give you a little background information. Future videos should be a little shorter and will include trail camera pictures, equipment tips and other information to document my efforts leading up and into the 2009 Kentucky deer season. I hope you will join along for some laughs and lots of good times along the way!

Really enjoyed the video, and I look forward to following the quest the rest of the year. I'm in the same boat - I've hunted hard for several years and killed quite a few deer with the bow, but still haven't down a P&Y. Good luck!
Thanks Rob. Glad to hear you will be following along, and good luck in your own quest for a P&Y!
Looking forward to keeping up with the series! With all your hard work, all you'll need is just a little luck. I've killed some nice bucks with the gun, one who is about a 140", and a ton of does with the bow. However, I have promised myself I won't shoot a buck with the bow unless he is a P&Y caliber animal.
